Assistant Director/Production Assistant
Dust House Productions
An on going position working on a freelance basis at various locations around England; working alongside trained professionals to produce varying content for artists such as pioneering beat-boxer Shlomo and working as an outside contractor for the Royal Shakespeare Company. While initially working as a runner, I have since fulfilled production assistant roles and most recently as assistant director to Dust House founder, and lead director, Chris Mcgill.

Camera Operator/Runner

Another on going position, however this is on a more practical level in terms of job role; fulfilling the roles of camera operator and production runner. I have worked on various projects with the RSC - ranging from stand alone content such as trailers for upcoming plays for their website, to week long productions such as their web based coverage of the Young People's Shakespeare week. My most recent projects with the RSC have seen me operating the video content and cues for 2011 run of The Merchant of Venice, producing a two part trailer for a Chris Jarman (Merchant of Venice, Doctor Who) side project and kitting up/prepping content for the upcoming run of Marat/Sade.

Cheltenham Jazz Festival
I worked as a camera operator and production runner alongside members of Cheltenham based production company Action Image Productions (who I have also worked with independently) under the banner of Cheltenham Festivals. My job role required me to shoot cut away footage of the festival, provide secondary camerawork for interviews as well as cover live performances of acts such as Imelda May. In addition to the camera operator position, i was also tasked with liaising with the two other camera units and ensuring they were fully stocked with charged batteries and tapes.

Fitzharry's School, Oxfordshire
A short term position where I was asked to work alongside trained teacher's aides and students with learning disabilities such as Aspergers syndrome, Attention Deficit Disorder and Down's Syndrome. This position allowed me to simultaneously develop my ability to explain topics clearly and concisely, while improving my ability to work cohesively with trained specialists, while benefitting directly from their greater skill and experience.
